The territory of the Princely State of Travancore was a part of the Chera country. It was at the farthest end of south India. The author clearly describes how the common people who lived there for about one hundred and fifty years from 1850 A.D., over time, fought against the cyclical changes of the government and liberated and established social justice. The author Is trying to inspire the readers to think and understand the historical story for future generations, which opposed a mighty empire and wiped out class distinctions, assimilated new ideas and travelled on the path of progress.
