The stories are so mesmerizing and heart touching u just get lost in the stories and especially time stops at Shamli is the most pleasing stories among all the stories in the book. Mr Bond is an outstanding writer. He has a special place in my heart with all his fascinating and interesting stories

It is beautiful story that includes train, mountains, and a pleasant hault in time. It's a book of reflection to relove and to be hurt again just to smile again.

I have read this book and its so awesome ...the stories are so enchanting and mesmerising espesially the haunted stories with unexpected endings!!! Its a must read!😊

About the author
Born in Kasauli in 1934, Ruskin Bond is an Indian children’s author of British descent. He has written more than forty books for children and is the recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award, the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan.
