I've used Obsidian for a couple years. It's a very good note-taking app. Vault (a paid add-on) makes syncing across devices effortless, but other cloud solutions also work. Composing in markdown's fast: your hands never leave the keyboard. It stores notes in markdown, so there's no lock-in: you can open them in a text editor. Once a note is synced to your device, you can reliably get to it even when you're offline. Quirks are in tables (a bit clunky) and the outline (hard to find on phones).

Instead of coddling you on how to use the app, Obsidian sets a stable framework with some default tools and lets you use it as you please. Like many users, you may spend more time organizing than actually writing. Its use cases can range from a basic pen and paper alternative all the way to setting up your own semi-automated business management suite.

This is literally the best note-taking app i've ever seen in my entire freakin life. Like literally, i cannot find one, literally one con that this app has. It's good in note taking, formatting, sharing notes, navigating your notes every single thing...This app is literally good at every single things possible. Especially the zettlekasten, it just makes it so easier to navigate! And the best part? It works offline. So even when i don't have internet and i need to take notes i can just..Go ahead!
