WhatsApp has suddenly stopped working on my Nothing Phone 1. The app won't open at all, and I have a huge amount of important data in it. Reinstalling is not an option as I risk losing all my chats, media, and documents. I’ve tried clearing cache and restarting, but nothing works. This is extremely frustrating, especially from such a widely used app. Please fix this issue or provide a solution that allows me to recover and back up my data without reinstalling.

WhatsApp is fast, simple, and reliable for messaging, calls, and sharing media. End-to-end encryption adds strong privacy, and features like WhatsApp Web, status, and disappearing messages are very useful. However, it lacks customization, media takes too much space, and it's tightly linked to your phone number. Still, it’s one of the best apps for daily communication. Just needs more control over privacy and storage. ♥️

Hi WhatsApp team, I really enjoy using the Status feature, especially for sharing music. But the current 15-second limit for music in status feels too short. It cuts off songs and doesn’t allow a full vibe or message to come through. I’d love it if you could increase the music status duration to at least 1 minute. That would make the experience much better. Hope you consider this in a future update!

What’s new
• Chat Themes allow you to customize your bubble color and wallpaper. Choose from pre-set themes, new wallpapers, or mix and match. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Chats’ > ‘Default chat theme’ to change it everywhere or ‘Chat themes’ in Contact or Group info to change it for a specific chat.
