It really could have been a neat game with a lot to do and places to explore. The small inventory is a terrible design, totally kills the game. The fact that you have to drop cargo to grab fuel is dumb. Theres no reason to make the game like this. It would have been super fun collecting stuff and looking for new ships or technology. How hard is it to imagine being able to upgrade your inventory? Im just glad I have the play pass, I would have been very dissappointed otherwise.

Would've been 100% because I really like the idea of the game and all the thought that went into the different encounters and aliens and worlds.... But man, it's a real bummer how ruthlessly luck-based it is. Somehow I'm dying faster in Easy mode than Normal. Wish there was a way to accumulate progress so each death doesn't feel like a total waste. I'd love to progress further in the game's story but as of now it seems impossible. Way too unforgiving.

I love roguelikes, etc, so I expect frequent deaths, but even with that, it seems like you need a frustratingly specific run to succeed. I'm open to the idea that I need to be better at the game, but while this is a technically sound game, totally worth trying, my losses felt unfair, in a way I learned nothing from, instead of "oh ok, if I do x better, it won't happen again." 100% try, 40% keep.
