So fun! Gameplay and sound are amazing. Characters are cool and unique. Lots of enemy variety as well as tons of quests to complete. Multiple heroes to choose from. There isn't a Vampire Survivors amount of abilities, though, but the ones here are cool and fun enough. It could benefit from having more in-game objectives to complete, but that's a minor point. Runs are long, too. 30 minutes each. Worth $5 for sure. The melee hero is BA, which I like cause they're usually weak in games like this.

Great game, but very tough to recommend on mobile. Halls of Torment, more than any other garlic-like on the Play Store, really requires fine controls to weave through ground aoes, fast moving enemies, and projectiles. Touch screen controls really don't cut it. I just reset my PC save the other day and cleared every Hall on the first go through, where on mobile I can barely get past ten minutes in the Frozen Depths simply because of how much harder it is to survive with clumsy phone controls.

It's Vampire Survivors with a (IMO) better look. The problem is, it's a bit short on content & you can tell they stretched it as far as they could. The result is a repetitive grind after roughly 7 hours of play. The first level became too easy and the second level was too hard, resulting in me beating the first level over & over into boredom. In short, the gameplay loop's curve would benefit from a level inbetween. -1 star for lack of originality. -1 star for lack of content
