Unless your players are maxed out (100 rating), there is no point training your players as you just get matched against teams significantly better than you (average 5-10 rating higher). And when you do run into a lower rated team, you will inexplicably lose the game, and the devs will just say rng. There is no strategy or tactics since you can't see what your opponent is running and there is no post game analysis to fine tune anything.

You make rapid progress at first and can develop players and sign exciting players...even if it doesn't appear that better cards, play any better...results seem a little random. You eventually hit a wall and the game stops. You can't get enough coins which you need to sign players (the achievements to earn coins become prohibitive) and the cash you get goes on contracts which at a certain point become untenable. Of course you can pay a lot of real world money and you'll win..your choice.

Wow. What a cluster f*** of an update. The game has taken a wrong direction a few weeks ago and it's getting worse. Developing players is useless, because it takes forever and afterwards you can't afford them. The new scouting system sucks, it takes more than three days to evaluate a player completely. The only important currency in the game (cash) is also harder to get. If you want to check the game every 5 minutes then it's the right game for you, otherwise don't bother.
