I had tried the top down modes of Rush Rally 2 and 3 and didn't like those modes. So, I was skeptical of a top down only Rush Rally game. But, since I loved the previous 2 games, I decided to give Origins a try as well. Thankfully, it turned out to be great! It takes some getting used to, but after the initial learning phase, it's really fun to play. I really like that the cars oversteer a lot, since that makes drifting much easier. Maybe we can have a drift focused RR game in the future ;)

Graphics are very good, the landscapes are really beautiful. Loading times are low and the price is very fair. Normally I prefer the ego perspective but this game is really fun. With the helicopter chade perspective it is like driving and watching a race at the same time. Once the car speeds up it can feel pretty intense. The handling of the cars seems natural and it differs from Rush Rally 3. Origins is more tuned towards drift racing. Unfortunately, there are rarely any players online.

This game is so frustrating as all rally games should be. Brings memories from Colin McRae or new Dirt. It is awesome, worth every penny. You will quit thousand of times, repeat stages and get better and better. It takes some time to adjust to controls, but when you find your perfect setup, the game is yours. Absolutely recommended for rally fans, don't recommend to casual lazy players which don't want to put some effort to reach some level. 6/5 for me.
