Fun game, love the aesthetic as I've always been a sucker for pixel games. The controls can be rough at first if you would to play it on touch instead of using a controller which is suggested by the game itself. Combat is great and fluid, stringing combos using the three weapons would require skill but is definitely worth learning. The enemies are challenging in a good way, not too easy not too hard. Bosses are also pretty balanced.

This is a good game for what it is. however, it is hindered by an overwhelming amount of bugs. saving at "bonefires" likes to freeze the game, and sometimes items glitch out. the list is too long. the combat suffers greatly, especially when you have to fight the same things over and over again for no apparent reason. Good luck with that. I can't recommend it just for the story. 2 stars for the fact it did have a story. albeit a weak one.

Executions simply don't translate well to mobile where players are typically just spamming one button. Having to press another right when you kill every enemy simply breaks the flow of combat. Especially when mobile controls are so finicky. And you miss the timing, you now have to waste even more time doing around and holding down the interact button to kill everyone. This is simply a bad port. Devs should have spent more time better porting it to mobile.
